Bridging to TAC: Move Liquidity Seamlessly

How to Bridge from EVM to TAC

There are two main ways to bridge from EVM to TAC, with two main providers.

1. Stargate
Use Stargate to move assets from EVM chains into TAC. Supported Routes & Assets include:

• $USR: ETH / HyperEVM / Arbitrum / Base / Bera / BSC ↔ TAC

See full list of routes currently available at the end of this article. Simply select your source and destination chains, choose the asset you want to move, and approve the transaction.

2. Hyperlane
Hyperlane is fully live on TAC and is starting to get some assets onboard on their routes. 

At the moment the only supported asset by Hyperlane is Noon (USN). If you're looking to bridge USN to TAC, you can already do so today via Noon’s bridge (which has Hyperlane as a provider). Soon, Hyperlane will also have TAC onboarded on its native interface. ‍

No Direct Route from Your EVM Chain?

If your EVM asset doesn’t yet support a direct route to TAC, you can bridge to TON first using USDT as an intermediary (assuming that the asset is supported on TON). 

Supported Route:

• $USDT: Ethereum / Arbitrum / TRON ↔ TON

Once on TON, you can complete the transfer to TAC using the inner bridge.

As written above, LayerZero via Stargate supports direct bridging between EVM chains and TAC EVM for selected OFTs like cbBTC, WETH, WIF, and more.

Several community members have asked why USDT bridging is not supported directly from Ethereum to TAC. This is because USDT is native to TON. In order not to fragment the liquidity, the approach to getting USDT from TAC EVM is to pass via TAC inner bridge. 

To recap, in order to get USDT on TAC EVM to use your favorite dApps, you will need to bridge:
1. Bridge USDT0 from Ethereum Mainnet to TON on Stargate.Finance.

2. Bridge USDT0 from TON to TAC using the TAC Inner Bridge.
